Did you know that there are famous organizations, Department of Health & World Health Organization, which launched and implemented programs that promote active lifestyle such as HATAW, E-di Exercise, Mag HL tayo and Go 4 Health.

And in spite of these activities, there is still a rise in death due to a non-communicable diseases caused by physical inactivity.

To which according to WHO, 65% of total deaths among Filipinos in the year 2000 were caused by non-communicable diseases. And by 2012, the number of deaths significantly rose up to 72%.

Imagine how we are doing with our lives in this current situation. How can we face the problems which are nowadays is very essential and common to us due to our habit lifestyle. How can we help to lessen its drastic effects not only to our health but also our society.

That is why the general idea of health promotion strategies is to encouraged that Filipinos to move more. It is encouraged that teenagers engage in physical activity for at least 60 minutes everyday. Fun Fact! Did you know In 2004, The Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI)reported that 86% of Filipino high school students in Manila fail to achieve the recommended physical activity level.
